Student Parking
Student Parking Requires a Free Student Permit
Parking permits may be acquired by NTHS students who will be driving to school during their assigned class schedule time. They will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority being given to seniors and Running Start students. All student drivers are required to acquire a parking permit before parking on campus. All new drivers are to acquire a permit within one week of driving.
Parking permits are free to students and are required to park on campus. To obtain a permit, fill out the Parking Permit Contract and turn the completed form into campus security before school or during lunch. Parking is free for students, but a permit is required.
When turning in your form, be prepared to show:
- Valid driver's license
- Valid vehicle registration
- Valid proof of automobile insurance
Cars parked without a permit on campus will be issued a parking violation.
- 1st offense: warning
- 2nd offense: $10 fine and parent/guardian contact
- 3rd offense: $35 fine and school discipline
- 4th offense: $50 boot removal fee and school discipline (including revocation of parking permit)
- 5th offense: vehicle towed at owner's expense and loss of parking privileges
