We opened in 1955 and are a comprehensive high school serving grades 9–12 in Olympia and Lacey, Washington. Our award-winning staff and programs provide unique opportunities for students. Go Rams!

North Thurston High School is a community of learners committed to individual excellence. We empower learners by fostering an environment that promotes intellectual and emotional growth. Goals & School Improvement Plan
Academic Gap Goals
- Increase the passing rate of 10th graders by 5% from the previous school year.
- Increase the passing rates of 10th graders served by special education services by 5% from the previous school year.
Behavior or Social-Emotional Learning Gap Goal
Increase the percentage of regular attenders in 10th grade and those served by special education services:
- 2024-25 school year: Quarter 1 (45.3%), semester 1 (36.5%), quarter 3 (28.6%)
- 2024-25 school year special education served: Quarter 1 (33.3%), semester 1 (45.5%), quarter 3 (22.9%)
